Get ready to live The Suite Life of Girl Scouts! Join us on Monday, April 21st from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (no school for LPS) as we turn the Howard Johnson on 56th and Cornhusker into our very own Tipton! Girls Kindergarten through Sixth grade are welcome to attend and try their hand at housekeeping, test their knowledge of the show with a trivia challenge, take a dip in the pool and relax while watching their favorite episodes of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. The main purpose of this event is to recruit and register new girls and show them just a little bit of what Girl Scouts has to offer. However, current Girl Scouts are welcome to attend and bring a non-Girl Scout friend. The price for current Girl Scouts is $20. Non-Girl Scouts will pay $25, which will include their Girl Scout membership fee through October 1, 2008. A minimum of 35 girls is needed to make this event happen. If this minimum is not met and the event is cancelled, notifications will be made on April 15th so that alternative childcare arrangements can be made. 		Girl Scout Leadership Development Program

Homestead Council is divided into 19 geographical areas called Service Units. Each service unit is lead by a group of volunteers known as the Service Team. Service Teams provide resources to leaders, represent Girl Scouts in their area, and serve as a liaison between their communities/leaders/parents and Homestead Council. Their role is vital to the success of Girl Scouts. Learn more about Service Team positions by downloading the position descriptions.
