In December 2007, Stefanie Ortiz-Cidlik, Director of Membership and Program, represented GSUSA at the “HIV/AIDS in Today’s World” conference at Sangam World Centre in Pune, India.

Girl Scouts - Homestead Council is currently accepting applications for the

Girl Scouts Presidents Leadership Award

which is a $1,000 scholarship.  Girls between the ages of 18 - 24 may apply if their permanent residence is in Homestead Council's jurisdiction.  For all criteria and to download the application,  http://www.homesteadgsc.org/Forms/index.php

Deadline for applications is February 15, 2008
